Mike Wilcox
I grew up on North Vancouver Island and graduated from Brentwood College School. Upon graduating, I decided to travel for several years. My journeys included a 2 year stay in London, England, 1 year stay in Antwerp, Belgium, and lengthy travels throughout Asia and Europe. Upon returning home, I was drawn to live in Vancouver, British Columbia.
All of my life I have had a great interest in real estate. For me, there is nothing more fascinating than values created by different people's desires, speculations, hard work, and emotions. After completing schooling in both marketing and fashion, I decided that my fascination and growing experience with condo retrofitting and the real estate market would make me very well suited for a career in real estate.

I have lived in downtown Vancouver since 2001. I believe that Vancouver is the best place to live in Canada. I find Coal Harbour, the West End, Yaletown, False Creek North, Gastown and the Downtown core all have their own uniqueness and beauty. The convenience of living downtown is unsurpassable.
My education began at the University of Manitoba, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in criminology and a minor in psychology.. After moving to Vancouver in 2001, I graduated from the Marketing Communications program through BCIT. I obtained various contract work after graduation as a marketing consultant. Taking a hands on approach with clients, I gained experience in tradeshow marketing, event planning, guerrilla marketing, fund development, sponsor negotiation, strategic planning, business-to-business sales and media relations.
My personal experience of buying and selling many properties of my own and knowledge of the downtown condo market helps me understand and help others achieve their real estate goals with confidence knowing that I understand their situation and emotions. I am a born and raised Vancouverite! I’ve lived and traveled all over the world but as much as I love visiting new places, the only place I’ve wanted to call home is Vancouver. After graduating with a B.A. from McGill University I began my career in advertising. I expanded my radio ad production experience into feature film and television production which I pursued for several years before purchasing my first condo in Vancouver’s Fairview Slopes. It was that experience combined with my ever growing interest in Vancouver’s one-of-a-kind market that led me to a career in real estate.
